KPCC is a non-profit counseling organization first chartered in 1970.
Our Board of Directors is independent, broad based,
and represents a variety of constituencies within the community.

KPCC is a compassion-based interfaith counseling organization with Christian roots.
Our staff includes spiritually centered lay counselors and clergy from a variety of faith traditions.

KPCC was incorporated in June of 1970
as with all evolving organizations,
our mission statement is a living document reflecting
our current dreams, intentions, values, and goals.

KPCC Mission Statement

We reach out

by providing professional counseling at an affordable cost,
for persons of all faith traditions and backgrounds,
combining quality psychotherapy
with the resources of one’s own faith journey and life experience.

by providing training opportunities for clergy and other professionals,
integrating psychology, spirituality,
and the wisdom of the faith traditions.

How KPCC fulfills its Mission

§    KPCC provides approximately 5000 services hours
to over 1000 individuals and families every year.

§    One third of our clients last year had incomes below $15,000.
§    Almost half of our clients have no health insurance.

Thanks to the generosity of our contributors, we have been able to offer substantial fee subsidies to deserving families and individuals.

§    45% of our clients qualify for larger subsidies, so that
their out of pocket cost is $25 or less for each session.
§    In all, we were able to subsidize the fees of over 80% of our clients.

KPCC continues to provide people from all sorts of faiths and backgrounds with the opportunity to reflect on the direction of their lives in a safe, confidential and affordable manner. We are able to provide our clients with this unique counseling service thanks to your contributions and support.

Your generous contribution to KPCC
