How Much Help Can I Get from Counseling?

While there are no guarantees of outcomes,
it is surprising how effective talking with a skilled professional can be.

In our most recent Client Satisfaction Survey

  • we had a 94% overall positive satisfaction rate with their counseling
  • 76% of our clients rating their overall level of satisfactions as "very positive"
  • 86% responded that the counseling services were "very helpful"
  • 95% said they would recommend our counseling services to others

What people have said when they write to us:

"I am becoming the person I always wanted to be and have weathered storms that, without my counselor's, I would not successfully sailed smoothly through. I use skills I have learned every day."
"I believe the help I received from KPCC was literally life-saving. In only a couple of sessions my partner and I were able to establish a basic stability in our marriage that I believe will be a first step towards a foundation of a long life together marked by great happiness. Thank you helping us find ways to show each other that no matter how stressful something becomes, we are available to and committed to one another. I am endlessly grateful for this help."

Cost, Location, Duration

Our counseling services are very affordable; financial concerns need not be the deciding factor in a decision to try counseling. Insurance usually covers a major portion of the cost of our counseling services, and we are preferred providers for a number of managed care plans including Blue Cross, PEIA, Aetna, and SelectNet. In addition, private and corporate donations allow us to offer counseling fee subsidies based on income and need.

Our offices are in several convenient counseling locations. Free and ample parking is available at each location.

Change, growth, and healing can happen in surprising ways. The number of sessions in a course of counseling depends largely on a person’s goals, and his or her sense of progress on the relevant issues. Each counseling session is fifty minutes long, and is usually scheduled once a week over the initial meetings.

Our fee is $130 for a fifty minute counseling session.
We offer fee subsidies for counseling based on ability to pay.
