RESET Charleston WV, Mayor’s Invitational Luncheon, Dec 8, 2014. Seventy-five Charleston area clergy and police gather together for a time of breaking bread, sharing concerns, solutions, and dialogue. KPCC’s Sky Kershner played a role in planning and facilitating the event.

With Rabbi Victor Urecki (B’nai Jacob), Imam Ehteshamual Haque (WV Islamic Association), Becky Ceperley and Stephanie Hyre (The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation), and Rev Ron English, (The Charleston Black Ministerial Alliance).
Rabii Urecki wrote on his Facebook page: “I am proud and honored to be asked to speak at Rotary again, this time about my experiences with CARLA. The Charleston Area Religious Leaders Association was formed ten years ago by Rev. Sky Kershner as a way for clergy to get to know each other. It has endured where other such groups have collapsed because we learn to share and grow, learning from each other and energizing one another.” Oct 6, 2014
